Thinking about the New Year

So Im thinking about me resolutions... since I have the 101 list Im not so eager to make another commitment... but I really want to do something about the way I eat... I mean I eat SO much fast food it isnt funny, especially for breakfast. So I need ideas... how can I eat better? I want to make my new year's resolution about eating healthy but I need it to be concrete or else I will ignore it right fast!

I need ideas that will keep me away from mcdonald's and BK breakfast, and away from coca cola and cheese... eating at home would be better, but I love eating with John and its hard to cook anything he would like... so I don't know... I think I have to eat out at least one meal a day to eat with him... but maybe not..

Now, since I am a vegetarian I have had a love hate relationship with food for a while... when I ate meat I felt guilty and when I was quitting I was depressed, and now Im frustrated that there arnt enough meat free options.

So, does anyone have any stress free ideas?

If you really want to eat meals at home you need to plan for them. Plan a few meals for the week, go to the store and shop for the food you will need. Try every other day to eat at home.

As for breakfast ...an egg and toast should only take a few minutes to make. Or even easier a bowl of cereal. Just get things ready the night before.

What if you and John tried cooking together. You could make the sides and he could prepare whatever meat he would like to eat.

Eating at home will save you lots of money ..then you can get yourself something special.

well... making an egg and toast is an option... but then I have a pan to wash every morning... which adds time to my already busy morning... its only busy cause I cannot manage to wake up at a reasonable hour! I cant have cereal either cause there is no rice milk in Korea... just soy milk (yuck) and cows milk which upsets my tummy :( They dont even have oatmeal here!

I have never suggested to John that he cook... I just dont know how he would feel about that, hes not much of a cooker, but I will see what he says.
